BIO

Hien serves as Manager of Dezan Shira & Associates’ Ho Chi Minh City office Corporate Accounting Services team. In this capacity she advises international clients on all aspects of accounting, audit, and taxation in Vietnam, specializing in adherence to Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), VAT, CIT, FCT and PIT finalizations, international tax planning, and statutory audit compliance, enabling them to grow their operations in the country.

Before joining Dezan Shira & Associates Hien accumulated eight years of experience in the tax, accounting, and audit fields, working for a Big Four accounting firm as well as acting as the Finance Manager for a large international firm invested in Vietnam, where she oversaw all financial aspects of day to day operations and offered strategic recommendations to the board of directors.

She graduated from the National University of HCMC with a Bachelor of Economics in Accounting and Audit and has earned a Chief Accountant Certificate from the Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
