Company Law of the People's Republic of China

The People’s Republic of China adopted a new Company Law in October 2005. The law came into effect from January 1, 2006.China further amended 12 provisions of the new Company Law which came into effect on March 1, 2014.

Almost nothing of the original company law subsisted the two revisions. An estimated ninety percent of the provisions of the new law are distinct from the old one.
