Alberto Vettoretti è nato a Valdobbiadene (TV) e ha studiato in Italia (Venezia, Universita’ Ca’Foscari) e in Inghilterra, dove ha conseguito una laurea in cinese ed economia e commercio (Durham University) ed un master in legge cinese e management (Staffordshire University). Il Dr Vettoretti e’ residente in Cina da oltre tredici anni e parla e scrive fluentemente italiano, mandarino, inglese e spagnolo.

Alberto è il managing partner di Dezan Shira & Associates e si occupa dello sviluppo internazionale dello studio dividend il suo tempo tra l’Asia e l’Europa. Dezan Shira & Associates (DSA) e’ la societa’ di consulenza legale, contabile, fiscale, tributaria e di gestione di libri paga ad investimento italiano piu’ grande in Asia. Alberto di occupa direttamente di advisory e pianificazione aziendale strategica e fiscale per investimenti di PMI e MNC in Asia.

Attualmente ricopre la carica di Vice Presidente della Camera di Commercio dell’ Unione Europea in Cina - Cina meridionale, dopo aver guidato la stessa in qualita’ di Presidente per il termine massimo di 3 anni e aver triplicato il numero di soci durante lo stesso periodo. In precedenza, Alberto e stato per quattro anni nel consiglio di amministrazione della Camera di Commercio Italiana in Cina con responsabilità per la Cina del Sud. Alberto collabora attivamente come consulente per gli investimenti con l'amministrazione municipale di Guangzhou ed è stato presidente della Camera di Commercio Inglese nel Guangdong, sezione di Shenzhen negli anni 2000-2002.

Alberto e’ il co-fondatore ed editore della casa editrice Asia Briefing Media Ltd nata nel 1999 la quale pubblica diverse testate e guide tecniche in varie lingue tra cui China Briefing, India Briefing, Vietnam Briefing e 2point6billion.com. Asia Briefing pubblica news giornaliere nonche’ 5 mensili tecnici su investimenti in Asia e ha stampato, ad oggi, oltre 50 libri su problematiche di carattere legale, fiscale e di pianificazione e management in Cina e in Asia in generale.

Alberto e’ spesso citato sulla stampa internazionale ove commenti ed articoli appaiono regolarmente su The Financial Times, The South China Morning Post, Il Sole 24 Ore, China Daily nonche’ in una moltitudine di altre pubblicazioni. Alberto e’ spesso impegnato in seminari, tavole rotonde, lezioni e presentazioni presso prestigiose universita’, organizzazioni governative ed istituti sia in Europa che in Asia.
Dal 2008 Alberto e’ un membro di YPO (Young President Organization) e ricopre attualmente la posizione di CFO per la sede della Cina meridionale (PRD).
