Restricted and Prohibited Investment Sectors In India

Foreign companies investing in India are permitted to have up to 100% foreign ownership in some India investment sectors, and are forbidden in investing in other sectors.

The Reserve Bank of India has published two lists relevant to this. List A shows those sectors which require special permission for India investment, and List B shows ones which do not allow any foreign investment in India at all.
