Labor Dispatch: Impact on Company Operations

Adam Livermore, equity partner of Dezan Shira & Associates, will present on the new Interim Regulations for Labor Dispatch (effective March 1, 2014) for the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai on March 25. Adam will cover the effects of these new regulations on the practice of labor outsourcing in China as well as the financial and operational impact of the changes.

Adam Livermore is the most recently appointed equity partner at Dezan Shira & Associates. Adam manages Dezan Shira & Associates' Dalian and Qingdao offices and oversees the international team to provide integrated payroll processing services to clients across China, Vietnam, India, Hong Kong and Singapore. Adam has co-written Human Resources & Payroll in China, a book dealing with human resources issues in the People's Republic of China with Dezan Shira & Associates subsidiary publishing house, Asia Briefing. Before coming to China, Adam worked for nine years in Japan, where he was deeply involved in commercial real estate finance. Originally from London, Adam has been living in China for the past 10 years and is proficient in Chinese and Japanese. Adam achieved his degree in business studies and economics from the University of Sheffield.
