China’s new Foreign Investment Law (FIL) will go into effect on January 1st this year.  Do you know how it will affect your business and investments?  Join us for this comprehensive update on the FIL hosted by EUCham Nanjing.

What will be discussed?

This seminar will have two speakers to give you both a general overview of the new law and an in-depth explanation of the technical legal side of the policy. Lorena will discuss the legislative background of the law and its current implications for foreign entities operating in the country while ChenChen will dive into the technical legal side of it.

This seminar aims to answer the common questions many foreign investors have such as:

  • What does the FIL mean?
  • Why is it being implemented now?
  • What are the highlights of the new law?
  • How will existing FIEs be affected?
  • How will the FIL protect the rights of foreign investors and FIEs?
  • What is missing from the new law and what are the major concerns regarding its implementation?
