
Alberto Vettoretti – Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter, China und Vietnam
Alberto wurde in Italien geboren und in Großbritannien ausgebildet, wo er einen Bachelor Abschluss in Chinesisch, Volkswirtschaft und Management (Durham) sowie einen MBA (Staffordshire) erwarb. Er lebt seit mehr als zehn Jahren in China und beherrscht Mandarin, Italienisch, Englisch und Spanisch fließend in Wort und Schrift.
Nachdem er für vier Jahre im nationalen Vorstand der Chinesisch Italienischen Handelskammer mit Verantwortung für Südchina tätig war, ist er zurzeit Vorsitzender der Perlflussdelta-Abteilung der Handelskammer der Europäischen Union in China. Alberto war ebenfalls Investitionsberater für die lokale Regierung in Guangzhou und ist ehemaliger Vorsitzender der britischen Handelskammer, Abteilung Guangdong, Shenzhen. Alberto ist spezialisiert in den Bereichen der Unternehmensstrukturierung, Steuerplanung sowie in rechtlichen und unternehmerischen Fragen, die ausländisch investierte Unternehmen in China, Hongkong und Vietnam betreffen.
Alberto war Mitbegründer des Asia Briefing Ltd. Verlagshauses 1999, welches heute eine Vielfalt an Titeln in verschieden Sprachen herausgibt. Diese sind unter anderem China Briefing, India Briefing, Vietnam Briefing und 2point6billion. Asia Briefing produziert fünf verschiedene Monatsmagazine und hat mehr als 50 verschiedene Bücher zu Fragestellungen der Auslandsdirektinvestitionen, des Rechts und der Steuern veröffentlicht.
Albertos Kommentare erscheinen regelmäßig in internationalen Veröffentlichungen wie der Financial Times, der South China Morning Post, der Il Sole 24 Or , der China Daily und einer Vielzahl anderer international anerkannter sowie lokaler Veröffentlichungen. Er hält regelmäßig Vorlesungen für Master Kurse in angesehenen Universitäten in Großbritannien und Italien und verbringt seine Zeit in Südchina, Vietnam und Europa.
