Our primary India office is located in Mumbai, the commercial center of the country. It is headed up by Aneet Virk, Country Manager for India, and supported by our legal, tax and administration staff, headed up Rohit Shrivastava, Legal Associates, Foreign Direct Investment unit.
The firm handles foreign direct investment into India on a national basis and maintains satellite offices also in Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai. Such work includes business advisory, cost comparisons, the establishment of liaison offices, wholly owned enterprises, joint ventures, OEM contractual assistance, related legal assistance, in addition to tax planning, accounting and due diligence services.
The firm is also able to provide preliminary advise to Indian companies wishing to invest in China and Vietnam, our Indian staff having previously been engaged in China, and through their on-going relationship with our China offices.
