Alberto 出生于意大利，在英国接受教育并在五年的时间里获得了汉语、经济与管理（杜伦大学）学士学位及MBA学位（斯坦福郡大学）。他已在中国居住超过十四年，精通普通话、意大利语、英语及西班牙语。

于1998年9月， Alberto 成为税务和会计事务所 Dezan Shira & Associates 的合伙人.Dezan Shira & Associates 从一家在深圳只有四名员工的公司发展成为现在拥有超过200个专业人员，12个中国办事处并在印度和越南也有分支机构的泛亚洲组织。Alberto 直接负责广东地区的四个办事处（广州，中山，深圳和香港），并负责公司在中国与越南的总体发展，并指导其出版部门Asia Briefing 公司的编辑工作。在2006年，他的公司被任命为全球会计师和审计师的前沿联盟（LEA）的唯一中国成员。LEA 是全球第二大的税务和会计机构。
