Dezan Shira & Associates have been operational in China since 1992 and maintain eight mainland China offices and one in Hong Kong.

The services we provide are to foreign investors wishing to establish a presence in the country, in addition to restructuring or providing other legal, administration, operational and tax accounting and due diligence advice to already established multinationals in the country. We are a licensed tax practice in China and in common with the larger firms also provide a legal services division for legal administration, business licensing and tax planning & compliance work.

Our China client base is multinational, and includes many well known businesses such as Siemens, Fiat, Peugeot, Devon Energy, Tiffanys, Gucci, Levi Strauss, KFC and so on. Staff in our China offices are a mixture of Chinese and Foreign lawyers, accountants and auditors; all are fluent in English as well as Chinese. Additionally, several European languages are spoken in-house. In total we are retained by about 1,700 clients in China from over 70 countries and employ about 150 full time legal, accounting, tax and audit professionals in the country to assist with our clients due diligence, corporate establishment, and tax / accounting needs.
