Marketing - Graphic Design Assistant (China)

We are looking for a Graphic Design Assistant in our Shanghai office.

Are you passionate about design that inspires and informs audiences? If you also have a working knowledge of graphic software and have a genuine interest in visual communication, you have a good chance of being the person we are looking for.

The Graphic Design Assistant will be responsible for assisting Dezan Shira & Associates and Asia Briefing Ltd.’s design team, focusing on desktop publishing and digital design. The Design Assistant will work under the Brand Design Manager, and will be responsible for:

Design Assistant Responsibilities:

• Responsible to layout, design, update and print Asia Briefing monthly business magazines.
• Responsible to layout, design and update Dezan Shira & Associates yearly business guides and books
• Responsible to layout, design and update Dezan Shira & Associates technical business insights and reports
• Responsible to layout, design and update Dezan Shira & Associate and Asia Briefing website, promotions, events, social media
• Coordinate with marketing department on events and promotions material
• Coordinate with international business department on global client projects

Candidates preferably have:

• Design professional undergraduate students (art, advertising, visual communication class, etc.)
• Guarantee a minimum of 2 months internship time, arrive at least three days a week, discretion can be adjusted
• Passionate with graphic design and professional digital layout in magazines and books, sensitive with the latest design trends and understand how to apply on the business
• English writing and speaking is preferred
• Familiar with Adobe design software, especially in Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Have learning ability, team spirit, and the sense of responsibility
• Applicants must meet the requirements to work as an intern pursuant to China's labor law
