Richard Hoffmann- Senior Associate
Richard is a member of our Business Advisory Services unit in Beijing and advises clients on incorporations and legal issues concerning their China investments throughout North China. He also sits on our regional practice management team and heads up our German desk. Richard obtained the First State Examination for law degree after studying in Heidelberg and Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Richard went on and received the Second State Examination for law degree - honor's degree - as a Junior Lawyer at district court Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He practiced law as a prosecutor in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and was previously with the firms Wellensiek Grub & Partner, Eckert, Dörsam & Klette in Germany and with Schick-Havas Attorneys in New York prior to joining Dezan Shira & Associates. He has more than seven years of work experience dealing with international clients and speaks German, English and Chinese.
